El Mare-Mar Food Haus Business History
El Mare-Mar Food Haus was founded in September,1996 after my retirement from teaching. The business name was coined up after the initials of the family which includes my sons' name and grandchildren. Like any other thing, putting up a business like this was not that easy at the start. My inclination in cooking and baking was such a great help. Aside from buko pie, we were able to make some other kinds of pies such as Macapuno pie, Pineapple Macapuno pie, Ube Macapuno pie, Buko Bibingka pie, Cassava cake, Crema de Maiz, and Mango pie. We also have special Pancit Malabon, Chicken/Pork Empanada, and other Special Pasalubong.
The family joined hands in facilitataing the work. Through faith in God, diligence and hardwork, the business runs smoothly and was able to survive all this year inspite of the influx of busuness competitors.
The business requires a very personal supervision and attention. My second son, Antonio Obnial,Jr., is now the owner of the business. Through his own various research and studies, the essential factor to improve our products has contributed to acquire more and more customers.
We have been blessed having business not just for ourselves but also for others working with us as their means of livelihood.
As God says in His word in Matthew 6:33,"But seek ye first the Kingdom ofGod and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you."
